Dinsdagmorgen likt de UvA haar wonden na de demonstratie op Roeterseiland die eindigt met een ontruiming rond drie uur ’s nachts, ondanks oproepen vanuit UvA-medewerkers en studenten om dit niet te doen.

Maandag hebben pro-Palestina demonstranten het veldje bij de Roeterseilandcampus (REC) bezet met tientallen tenten. Rond 3.00 uur vannacht begon de politie met het ontruimen van het kamp.

On Monday, around 100 students occupied the Roeterseiland campus field. The protesters placed tents and say they will not leave until the UvA grants their demand regarding a full academic boycott of Israeli institutions.
